In the Wachau Valley, in Lower Austria, you will encounter crisp white wines and tasty apricot dishes will, in Salzburg, the hometown of the Salzburger Nockerl, a local dessert dish, great beers, and of course, the Mozartkugel marzipan chocolate ball. In Innsbruck, you will taste famous Tyrolean dumplings and Speak. Graz will spoil you with excellent Styrian wines (both white and red) and dessert specialties made from local pumpkins.
