With a journey time of only 16 minutes, the City Airport Train is the fastest way to travel to Vienna city centre. The City Airport Train operates daily from 05:37 a.m. to 23:38 p.m., 365 days a year. The city terminal is located at Wien Mitte station (a 10-min walk from St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and provides easy access to trams, underground lines, busses, and taxis.
A dedicated CAT counter is located in the arrivals hall, where you can find information about CAT services and purchase a ticket.
The rapid transit railway (S-Bahn) is an economical way of travelling between Vienna City centre and Vienna Airport.

Reach Vienna main station (Hauptbahnhof), St. Pölten, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Bregenz, and Graz directly by ÖBB Railjet. Transfer at Vienna main station for Klagenfurt, Brno, Prague, Györ, and Budapest.

Vienna Airport Lines connect Vienna Airport with the main Vienna transport hubs.
The 3 Vienna Airport Line routes serve all of Vienna’s underground railway lines. Every 30 minutes there are connections to the airport from Vienna West station (Westbahnhof) and Vienna main station (Hauptbahnhof). Buses to the city centre (Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz) run 24 hours a day with a journey time of only 20 minutes.
Innsbruck Airport is easily accessed by bus. Bus route F connects Innsbruck main station with the airport terminal in just 20 minutes.
The airport does not have a direct railway link, but Bus F will take you to Innsbruck main station in just 20 minutes. From there, you can take international and national trains.
Take a public bus from Graz Airport to Graz main station or Jakominiplatz. The bus stop for Bus 630/631 (Graz Centre “Jakominiplatz”) is right outside the passenger terminal, right next to the departure area.
Train line S5 operates regularly between Graz main station (Hauptbahnhof) and Graz Airport.
Public buses run at regular intervals between Salzburg Airport, the main train station in Salzburg and the city centre, as well as to Zell am See, Maishofen, Saalfelden, Weißbach, St. Martin, Unken, Bad Reichenhall, and Wals.
Tickets are available at the “Newscorner” in the airport terminal, at the bus stop (ticket machine), or can be purchased directly from the bus driver.
The Salzburg Card is available at “Reisewelt” travel agency. It offers free entrance to most tourist attractions and free public transport in the city of Salzburg for 3 days.
Bus No. 601 links the airport to the centre of Linz. The journey time is approximately 22 minutes.
Hörsching train station connects Linz and Wels at hourly intervals:
Linz – Hörsching journey time: 10 min
Wels – Hörsching journey time: 14 min
A free shuttle bus to the airport awaits all passengers (with valid plane tickets) at Hörsching train station (please note: You will have to show your train ticket.) The journey takes about three minutes. The shuttle service operates as required between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The main bus stop at the airport can be found just outside the arrivals hall. Busses 40 and 42 take you to Klagenfurt centre in less than 20 minutes.
Klagenfurt offers easy connections to Bruck/Mur, Vienna, Villach and Salzburg. The journey time between Klagenfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) and Klagenfurt Annabichl (nearest stop to the airport) is just 5 minutes. There is a train to Annabichl approx. every 30 min. and it is just a 7 minutes’ walk to the airport from the station at Annabichl. Find connections
