Countless celebrations, concerts and festivals draw people to both banks of the river. Another enticement is the special trips on the river offered by the shipping companies, which open up entirely new views of Linz. For example, there are "city tours on the Danube" twice a month. And on summer evenings the shipping companies offer excursions with music, dancing and culinary treats - also ideal for family outings and association and company excursions.
