Lienz
Tirol´s largest and most beautiful valley offers summer and sun, winter and snow. Amlach
The lovely village of Amlach with its 300 inhabitants is located south of Lienz at the foot of the "Rauchkofel" mountain and is ideal for relaxation away from the stresses of everyday life.

Gaimberg
Gaimberg is located north of Lienz at an elevation of 700 m on the southern slope of the "Zettersfeld", the foothills of the "Schober" mountain range. It consists of several parts: Obergaimberg, Untergaimberg, Grafendorf, Postleite, Wartschensiedlung and Zettersfeld. The resort currently has 737 inhabitants.

Iselsberg
Iselsberg-Stronach with its 501 inhabitants is situated above the valley on a sunny plateau overlooking the Lienzer Dolomiten mountains. The resort borders on the Hohe Tauern national park and offers easy hiking trails across fields and forests and is a starting point for damanding mountain tours, too. Iselsberg is located at the beginning of the "Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse" road. The East Tirolean side valleys, the Carinthian lakes and South Tirol are easily acessible from the village.

Small ski lift, sunny cross-country skiing trail, natural toboggan track, numerous winter hiking trails and a free ski bus service to the ski lifts in Lienz.
Leisach
Leisach is located at the west end of the Lienz valley basin. It currently has 840 inhabitants and consists of Burgfrieden, Gries and Leisach-Dorf. Family hiking trails with romantic wooden benches are typical of the small resort. Swimming pool in the wood and sports ground for children, cycling trails along the Drau river. Natural toboggan track, ice rink and small ski lift in winter. The "Lienzer Klause" - its oldest parts are from the year 1240 - is only a half-hour walk from Leisach. The former fortress was built by the bishop of Brixen as a defense against the Counts of Görz.
Nikolsdorf
Nikolsdorf is situated at the southeastern edge of the LIenz valley basin at an elevation of 671 m. The resort has 897 inhabitants and consists of Nikolsdorf, Lengberg and Nörsach, Lindsberg, Michelsberg, Plone and Damer.
Nikolsdorf offers various accommodation facilities such as inns, cozy B&B´s, apartments and beautiful farmhouses. Tristach

The sunny village of Thurn is situated 2 km north of Lienz at the foot of the Zettersfeld mountain at an elevation of 854 m and consists of Thurn-Dorf, Oberdorf, Zauche, Prappernitze and Zettersfeld. It currently has 640 inhabitants.
There are various accommodation facilities such as well-equipped apartments, romantic farmhouses, private lodging and a B&B. Take a hearty snack in the "Thurner Dorstube" or the "Reiter" inn. Thurn´s special feature is its wonderful location just above the town of Lienz with stunning views of the Lienzer Dolomiten mountains. Those seeking peace and recreation will feel home here. Visit the St. Nikolaus church in the village. If you walk across lush meadows along the new "Friedenweg" (peace trail), you will get to the legendary St. Helene church.
