Welcome to Gosau!
First time visitors to Gosau are overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of their natural surroundings. It is hard to believe that people really live here in this region, which is 700 metres above sea level, and is surrounded by bleak, rugged and majestic mountains.
Exhibition of Provincial Life 2008
* "Layers of stone" exhibition open until 2nd November in the Geology Museum. Closes then for winter. Re-opens on 20th May 2009, when the "Primeval Forest" attraction will also re-open to visitors.
