The combination of rural community and modern tourism worked out perfectly in Weiden am See. The tradition of winegrowing, that dominates the people´s life all through the year is completed by tourist offers that are based on rural life. Our guests stay in private homes, guesthouses, or directly in our lakeside holiday village. An excellent surfing and sailing school with F2 surfing equipment, tennis, beach volleyball, and cycling trails are available. Straw plaiting courses, wine tasting sessions, horse-drawn sleigh rides to the national park, and excursions to Vienna and the neighboring countries further complete the program.
