Deutsch Kaltenbrunn with the hamlet of Rohrbrunn is a market municipality in the northern part of the Jennersdorf district. It lies in the thermal region at the Styrian/Burgenland border, which was formed by the river Lafnitz. The village lies away from through traffic in a very quiet part of the Lafnitztal valley, partly in a nature reserve.

In the valley farmers till their soil. But Deutsch Kaltenbrunn also is a sports community. You can go horseback riding, cycling, fishing, running, hiking, play tennis, go skating, alpine curling and cross-country skiing. You will exprience and enjoy the special rural character of our village. Visit the nearby thermal spas like Loipersdorf (15km), Bad Waltersdorf (15km), Stegersbach and Blumau (each 10 km away).

Golfers can chose between a 18-hole golf course in Loipersdorf and the golf course in Bad Tatzmannsdorf (35km) with a 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course or the linked golf circuit (45 holes) in Stegersbach.
