The market municipality of Draßmarkt lies in the outskirts of Landseergebirge mountain range amidst large areas of farmland. It is surrounded by extensive forests.



On the Kirchberg hill, the center of the municipality, are the old school, that is now a meeting place, and the pillory. A further rarity are the underground escape tunnels to the Wehrkirche church. One of these tunnels has been partly preserved and can be visited.



With the modern swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling alleys, dart facilities, and the ice rink a varied leisure program is available in Draßmarkt.



The village parts of Oberrabnitz and Karl are located at the upper Rabnitztal valley. The idyllic landscape that is rich in woods offers peace, recreation and relaxation. In the guesthouses local specialties and good wines can be tasted.
