The market municipality of Kobersdorf with its town districts Oberpetersdorf and Lindgraben is located at the foothills of the 775m high Pauliberg mountains - Austria´s last active volcano. Kobersdorf is famous for the Wasserschloß castle at the northern end of the town.



The town´s history is closely connected with the castle. The picturesque castle has an arcade courtyard, in which the open air festival takes place in July and August. Paralell to the festival a private society has acquired the Jewish synagogue in Kobersdorf.



The local heritage museum is also worth a visit. The wood-covered hill landscape is ideal for relaxing holidays.



Kobersdorf has plenty of natural mineral waters. Free drinking cures are prescribed for kidney, bladder, stomach, and intestinal diseases. They are also recommended for purification.



The local gastronomy spoils guests with selected wines, local culinary delights, and real organic produce.
