Graz - Cultural Capital - World Cultural Heritage
Life is beautiful in Graz
Graz is so colorful that you´ll spend sleepless nights there. This self-confident town has done its bit for posterity: the old town has become a UNESCO world heritage site. The Mur river is the lifeline of the town, here one lives relaxed according to the rhythm of the water. Most of all Graz is a melting pot of culture. The European Cultural Town of 2003 has always been a great place for musicians, actors, poets, architects and designers.
Graz in Advent time - Graz in Christmas time
Advent lights - Advent calendar - Christmas marketsGraz remains true to its concept of lights! At Christmas time a unique Christmas decoration set out. State-of-the-art light technology illuminated the center of Graz during pre-Christmas time. Not only children love it.The Christmas markets of Graz and the Advent-Treff market in the picturesque old town (Franziskaner district, Färberplatz square, Mariahilferplatz square and Hauptplatz square) are within easy walking distance. The ice nativity scene made of 50 tons of crystal-clear ice is bound to be again a unique piece of art. It won´t last though. Contact - skip
