"On the mountains I am king", a magic line often found in summit guest books. It expresses the understandable feeling of freedom that is experienced on one of the numerous vantage points of the Dachstein mountains. On three levels - maple tree forests (1,100 m), alpine pastures (1,700 m) and glacial ice (2,700) - this marvelous views can be experienced in Ramsau am Dachstein. The old pastures and shelter huts are open until the end of October.
