Located in the north of Lienz, the village of Gaimberg lies at 700 m elevation on a south-facing slope of Zettersfeld mountain. The village comprises the hamlets of Obergaimberg, Untergaimberg, Grafendorf, Postleite, Wartschensiedlung and Zettersfeld. At present it has a population of 737.
Our romantic village is the ideal starting point for beautiful hiking tours and cycling tours along the Lienz valley or to the Zettersfeld mountain. Recently a new tennis court has been installed.
