Skiing, cross-country skiing and winter romance
Today Achenkirch is as famous in winter as in summer. It's perfect for skiers and cross-country skiers.Snow is guaranteed (due to snow-making facilities) at the Christlum lifts. At the base terminal there's a ski school for kids. The area boasts 4 lifts and 25 km of pistes and was among the first areas to support the new sport snowboarding.Furthermore there are 58 km of cross-country trails awaiting you. You will definitely find your favorite winter activity as you can choose between carriage rides, winter hikes, snowshoe tours, tobogganing and much more. Celebrate Christmas in a peaceful, quiet location far off the hectic shopping world - at Sixenhof farm (Nov - Jan): life-sized figures of the nativity set and real animals fascinate all our guests.
