Lechaschau is part of the holiday region of Reutte, right at the outskirts of the Alps. Located on the left-hand-side shore of the Lech river, our small village with a population of 2000 is the ideal destination for a relaxing family vacation.
Due to its proximity to the town of Reutte (separated only by the Lech river), Lechauschau boasts excellent infrastructure. Once the "wildest river in Tirol", the Lech river has now been "civilized". It has superb water quality and was declared a nature preserve in the year 2000.
Summer Activities
Four nearby lakes - Plansee, Heiterwangersee, Urisee and Frauensee - are perfect locations to go swimming, diving, surfing, sailing and fishing.
