Welcome to “Sonnenstein” – the scenic location of many movies. The real name of this beautiful area is “Mieminger Plateau”.

The idyllic snow-capped mountains and woods are situated on a high plateau in the middle of Tirol and in reality the landscape is even more impressive than in the movies.

In winter and in summer you can enjoy active holidays or just relax. The landscape changes throughout the year, however its charming in every single season.

80 km of cross-country skiing trails, 30 km of winter hiking trails, an ice-skating rink, rides with horse-drawn carriages, toboggan runs, mountain parties, free ski bus to Grünberg lift, ski safari in the nearby ski areas. Adventure world for kids at Holzeisbichl with free use of the T-bar lift.
