Stams is a beautiful village in the Tirolean Oberland region, 34 km west of Innsbruck. It is situated on a gentle southern foothill of the Central Alps.

Stams has a very popular cultural center, which has been developed around the famous Cistercian monastery. An ideal starting point for many hiking tours.
