The zoo in Haag counts to the
most beautiful recreation areas in Lower Austria. The zoo is situated
in the park of the castle in Salaberg, which shows a huger and old
stock of trees. You can see about 90 different kind of animals. The
pens are vast, so the animals live in a close touch to the nature.
The visitors can go fishing to the JOCHPOND (Note that no public
permission ist necessary). There is also a play ground, which is
rather popular with children. Another attraction is th bird call
parh. Along the foot path there are some park benches.

The zoo is ideal for
fotographers and film makers, because it offers lots of interesting
themes and subjects. If you should take yourself time to enjoy this
lovely and peaceful zoo.
Dogs are permitted, but they
must be kept on a lean.
