Churertor:

The location of the town Feldkirch on the river "Ill" was important for it´s economical development. The transit with salt started at the "Churertor" across the "Heiligkreuzbrücke" to Switzerland. For centuries this bridge was the only one across the "Ill".


Mühletor:

Also named as "Sautor" (pig´s gate), because in former days the traditional pig market took place there.
