The Heiligenbrunn "Kellerviertel" comprises 120 wine cellars from the 17th and 18th centuries, all of which have been put under a preservation order. 50 of those loam-covered wooden buildings still have roofs thatched with rye straw and boast old wine-making tools. Everything you see gives a testimony of the winegrowing culture in former centuries, telling you stories of times long past.
