The 80-km Bregenzer Ache is a tributary of Lake Constance which also has a lot to offer for tourists and water enthusiasts. The lower course of the Bregenzer Ache stream is extraordinarily scenic and perfectly suited for white water sports throughout the year. All those who fancy white-water canoeing or kayaking have the opportunity to attend special courses. Accommodations as well as parking and camping sites are also available. The upper course of the stream is famous for its strong white water and thus is a true paradise for experienced athletes.
Bathing in the sun on the sandy beach of the Bregenzer Ache stream or dipping into the clear mountain water is a real pleasure. In the area between Andelsbuch and Egg you also have the opportunity to fish. Moreover, fishers may indulge their passion in the nearby Tanna fishing pond. There, fresh trouts are barbecued and fried. You can also finish off your eventful day with a romantic campfire.
