Stausee Ottenstein

The Ottenstein reservoir is located in a beautiful, sunny spot in the Waldviertel region. There are numerous campsites around the lake, and it can be explored by boat. The ruins of Ottenstein Castle and the fortress of Lichtenfels are close to the lake, thus contributing to a jaw-dropping panoramic view. Motor boats, pedal boats and rowing boats, as well as surf bikes, may be rented at the lakeside restaurant.
