Once you have arrived at one of Austria's airports, there's a quick way get to your holiday destination!

Vienna

Vienna International Airport – VIE

CAT (City Airport Train): It departs every 30 minutes from 6.05 am to 11.35 pm and takes just 16 minutes. CAT Single Ticket Adults € 11,-, Return Ticket € 17,-. Children under the age of 14 accompanied by an adult travel free of charge. www.cityairporttrain.com 

Railway:

Starting from the stations Wien Meidling and Wien Hauptbahnhof 2 long-distance trains are in operation every hour in each direction, for the most part offering 30-minute intervals. It takes only 18 minutes to travel from Vienna Central Station to Vienna Airport. These rail connections are offered daily between approx. 05:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Cost per ticket is € 8.60,-.


In addition the S7 regional train connects Vienna International Airport and Vienna city centre. The travel time from and to the station Wien Mitte / Landstraße is about 24 minutes respectively, because the S7 stops at several stations along the way. You have good access to the public transport network of Vienna at the stations Wien Mitte / Landstraße (underground lines U3 and U4), Wien Nord / Praterstern (underground line U1) and Handelskai (underground line U6). The S7 runs every 30 minutes during day time (at night every hour). Cost per ticket is € 2.40,-.

Bus: Also, busses running every 30 minutes (from 6 am to midnight) link the airport with the city centre (Schwedenplatz) and Wien Westbahnhof. Travel time to the city centre is 20 minutes. Tickets cost € 8.00,- one-way for adults.

Taxi: Public transport is much cheaper than taxis which cost around € 45,- for a ride into the city centre and can take 30 - 45 minutes.

Salzburg

Salzburg W.A. Mozart Airport – SZG

Bus: The city bus no. 2 goes at regular intervals (every 10 min) between Salzburg main railway station and the airport. Sundays and public holidays every 20 min. Journey time approx. 20 min.
The city bus no. 27 goes from the airport via Wals/Viehhausen to the railway station (journey time approx. 40 min).
The city bus no. 8 goes from the airport via Salzburg city centre to the park & ride Alpensiedlung. Costs: single ticket  € 2,50-, children € 1,30-

Innsbruck

Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport – INN

Bus: Bus F operates every 15 minutes and links the airport with the city centre. Travel time: 20 minutes Costs: single ticket € 2.30.-, children € 1.70,-

Taxi: Taxi rank in front of the airport terminal. A ride to the city centre costs approximately € 25.-
 

Graz

Airport Graz Thalerhof – GRZ

Bus: Public busses (Nr. 630 and 631) are operating between the airport and Graz train station. The bus stop is right outside the passenger terminal, next to the arrival area. The price for a one-way trip is € 2.20,-.

Train: Trains operate hourly between Graz Airport and Graz Main Train Station. It is only approx. 300 meters (a 5-minute walk) from the train station to the passenger terminal. Luggage trolleys are available at the train station for your convenience. Cost per one-way ticket € 2.20-. www.oebb.at

Taxi: Taxi rank in front of the airport terminal, a ride to the city centre costs approximately € 25.-.
 

Linz

Blue Danube Airport Linz – LNZ
