Innsbruck - Where Winter Sport Meets Urban Flair

Transport is a breeze with net lifts and a free ski bus service to all stops.

The skiing Eldorado right at Innsbruck's doorstep comprises almost 300 kilometres of pistes and is accessible on just one ski pass for 9 ski resorts.

At the Nordpark, Innsbruck's most ‘vertical' park located right above town, snowboarders love to ride the challenging Skylinepark and Superpipe, but also alpine skiers and sun seekers take advantage of the new Nordkettenbahn cable car to join the winter fun coupled with fabulous panoramic vistas.

We suggest a ride on the brand new Nordkette funicular, where you can experience a combination of outstanding contemporary architecture and daring ascents. This and the fact that in just 20 minutes you can get from the city centre all the way to lofty mountain heights makes this ride so unique in the Alpine region.

Only the sky seems to be the limit when you hit the slopes of Kühtai, at more than 2,000m above sea level Austria's highest ski resort.
You can add another 1,000m in altitude at the nearby Stubai Glacier.
If you prefer relaxed, wide turn skiing you will find the family slopes of Glungezer, Mutterer Alm, Rangger Köpfl, Patscherkofel or Schlick 2000 ideally suited.

In the Axamer Lizum you can feel the Olympic magic skiing on the legendary downhill or giant slalom slope on the Hoadl. Where once Olympic slalom specialists left tracks in the snow, the pistes on the Birgitzköpfl now offer many different downhill variations for ski enthusiasts.

You can choose between the Innsbruck Gletscher Skipass (glacier ski pass) that covers Innsbruck's Olympia SkiWorld and the Innsbruck Super Skipass which also includes the famous Tyrolean ski resorts of Kitzbühel and Arlberg. With this variety, the number of kilometres of pistes goes up to more than 700 - with 250 lift facilities to match. Both passes include free ski bus service up until March, the most convenient way to comfortably reach the chosen ski region.
The rate for a 6-day Innsbruck Gletscher Skipass (glacier ski pass) is €175 for adults, with reductions available for teens and children. The Innsbruck Super Skipass variety ‘5 out of six days', at the cost of €213 for adults, covers 3 days' skiing at the Olympia SkiWorld as well as 1 day each at Kitzbühel and St. Anton, including ski bus service.
