For the visiting skier, Kitzbühel offers a guarantee of snow from December to April. 357 modern ski lifts and cable cars take skiers to over 1081 carefully prepared slopes. The new 3S gondola whips skiers and boarders 400metres above the Saukasergraben Valley on spans that are a massive 2,500 meters between supporting towers. The entire area is massive and all accessible through the Kitzbüheler Alpen AllStarCard. Of course winter sports lovers will be interested in the diversity of terrain between the Kizbühler Horn mountain and Hahnenkamm peak, but the Après Ski available in the historic town centre, including top quality hotels, restaurants and shopping, is a drawcard in itself.
