The Eagle Walk

Hike the longest hiking path of Europe – the Eagle Walk in Tirol.

Hiking Austria’s mountains allows you to explore the people and traditions and discover the entire beauty of the nature.
The Eagle Walk takes you from St. Johann past the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountain range, on through the Brandenberger Alps, the Rofan and Karwendel mountains, and through the Lechtal Alps to St. Anton am Arlberg.

All in all the path consists of 126 stages and covers a distance of 1480 kilometres with a total elevation gain of 87,000 meters.

No matter if you challenge yourself at the main route, or if you prefer picking out some nice daytrips - with the Eagle Walk the young and old, the fit and not so fit can enjoy hiking as a joyful and healthy activity.
