Tirol: IceQ Design Restaurant in Sölden
Located at the top of the Gaislachkogel at 3048m, the new innovative design restaurant IceQ opened in Sölden at the start of the ski season 2013/14. A testiment to modern architecture, the glass exterior projects a transparent feeling that makes visitors feel up close and personal with the spectacular mountain scenery. The technical masterpiece goes one step further, as the roof terrace is connected to the Gaislachkogel mountain peak via a suspension bridge. The stylish high-end restaurant is a gourmet experience, taking Austrian cuisine to new heights. A special highlight is the signature wine ‘Pino3000’, a cross-border wine project, seeing three top wine growers bring their best Pinot Noir from Austria, South Tyrol and Germany to be matured in a special wine cellar at the Gaislachkogel.
Tirol: Zillertal's Kristallhütte Experience
Experience the unique mountain atmosphere at the Kristallhütte in the Zillertal Alps and get away from it all. SalzburgerLand: Krallerhof Fine Dining and Europe's Highest Brewery
Der Krallerhof is one of the finest wellness hotels in SalzburgerLand, located on a sunny plateau in Leogang. East Tirol: Above it all at the Adler Lounge
Amidst the spectacular Grossglockner mountain scenery, modern architecture reaches towards the clouds of style and enjoyment. With more than 60 three-thousand meter peaks in front of you, chilling, dining, staying overnight or simply ‘being above it all’ is easy at the Adler Lounge. A holiday at the Grossglockner resort of Kals/Matrei is invariably a superlative mountain holiday. In winter, the region boasts more than 110 km of ski runs (East Tirol’s largest ski area) and in summer National Park Hohe Tauern (Central Europe’s largest national park) invites you to hike and mountain bike on discovery tours. The Adler Lounge is enthroned at about 2,500 m altitude, right by the mountain terminal of the cable car. In whisperingly quiet, comfortable all-glass cabins, you float from Kals to the heights. Designer furniture, wood floors and modern art make après-ski as much of an experience as the summertime jazz brunch or a stylish afternoon meal at the Adler Lounge. And if, after all that enjoyment, you simply cannot tear yourself away, you can simply stay for the night. A double room and several snazzy apartments will convince you in an instant that you made the right choice.
