Cube Nassfeld
The Cube is an autonomous fun factory, a piece of urban lifestyle transplanted to the countryside. The solid, cube-shaped building is enclosed by a steel and glass construction which, by night, is lit in different colors. The hotel opened its doors in 2004 and is hard to miss. The traditional hotel architecture was dismissed in several ways. Rough materials like concrete and steel dominate the no-nonsense design concept and lend strength and weight to the building, while the use of glass conveys a sense of lightness and openness. And the interior is just as extravagant. The rooms, which are very functional, all come with a “showroom” where sports equipment can be stored. And the buzz continues outside of the rooms with large public zones on all floors, designed to encourage communication.

Aenea
Carinthia’s first design hotel opened its doors in 2003 and offers 15 suites overlooking the lake. The hotel entices with its classical architectural design coupled with clear and modern lines. The symmetric design language with black, white and silver colors creates a minimalist and exclusive ambiance. The hotel’s wedge-shaped layout ensures that all suites enjoy equally great views of the lake. Glass, metal and plaster are the dominating material at the Aenea. Soft carpets, comfortable leather chairs and upholstery and warm light lend the hotel a warm and intimate feeling. The rooms feature Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni furniture, and the bathrooms boast Philippe Starck.

Falkensteiner Hotel Carinzia
Located in the foothills of Sonnenalpe this new resort hotel perfectly blends with its natural surroundings. The entire hotel, which was finished in July 2005, takes on the shape of rooms and represents a holistic architectural composition. Corners, curves and smooth edges structure the 200-meter long complex. Expansive atriums with water channels and plenty of green create a nature experience within the hotel’s confines. The spacious glass lobby forms the centerpiece of the hotel which was designed by Arkan Zeytinoglu. The rooms’ special decors leave space for emotions.

Fuchspalast
Modern, innovative and imaginative architecture in the heart of St. Veit! “Fuchs Palace” is the first Art Hotel of the painter Prof. Ernst Fuchs and was designed in the style of “fantastic realism”. The hotel’s 60 exclusive and bright rooms have beautiful color themes and depict zodiac signs. In the restaurant cool metal columns and light ceramic floors stand in contrast with warm colors and furnishings. The walls are decorated with select paintings and sculptures by Fuchs.
