Spitz Hotel in Linz
In November 2006 Linz’ first culture and boutique hotel was opened in consideration of the town being the European Culture Capital 2009. The Spitz Hotel was built in cooperation with the city’s most important cultural centers including Brucknerhaus, Ars Electronica Center, Landestheater, Arts University, Lentos and Landesmuseum. Regional artist Isa Stein realized the project and countless students of the Linz Arts University helped to design the fourth floor in the course of the project "Design it!". Architectural highlights and unusual design elements lend a special atmosphere to each room. Guests are provided with an impressive glimpse of Linz’ art and culture history in combination with comfortable living.
