ImPuls Tanz Festival
The first Vienna International Dance Weeks were held in 1984, which in 1988 grew into the ImPuls Tanz Festival, now one of the largest dance events in the entire world. Professional dancers and choreographers meet here to present their latest productions, while dance instructors pass on their knowledge in workshops, above all communicating the joy of dance. This mixture of contemporary dance and trend-oriented productions enthrals thousands of dance enthusiasts that flock to Vienna every year. An added attraction is the festival's main event venue: the city's lively MuseumsQuartier.
