Many rooms in this 4*Superior hideaway are designed with view onto the beautiful Lake Achensee as well as the mountains, so you can benefit from the spectacular scenery surrounding the hotel in complete privacy. To round up your daily activities, the Hotel Wiesenhof serves up a vast array of culinary treats as part of its luxury half board. Benefit from the high quality hotel kitchen which makes its own bread and uses largely local or regional produce. Guests with special dietary requirements are more than welcome, and the hotel chef gladly accommodates any requests.

The Experience

On the first floor of the hotel you will find the Karwendel Spa and beauty area, a 1,500m² large oasis for your general health and well-being. Make the most of the indoor pool, fitness area, 4 saunas, relaxation rooms and treatments. The cardio fitness studio is full of the latest high tech equipment such as tele bikes, tele gyros, steppers, weights and a Reebok sky walker. After a workout in the gym what could be better than soothing your muscles in the heated indoor pool? The nearby 18 hole golf course offers state of the art warm up at the driving range, and should the weather change an indoor golf simulator will keep your skills to the max. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared and there is a chance to try out bread baking. Parents do not need to worry either. Socialise with new friends in the hotel lounge while the kids play just a few steps away in the fabulous children’s playroom. Alternatively you could all enjoy the hotel's horse stables and other animals such as, donkeys, alpacas, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and cats.

A vast range of high quality spa treatments for face and body are on offer at Hotel Wiesenhof. Alpienne products are used, made of handpicked Alpine herbs and converted into highly effective natural care products. The hotel’s signature treatment is the Tyrolean Shale Oil Bath, produced from oil shale which is over 180 million years old, offering many healing properties. Another popular choice is the Soft Pack Bed treatment in which you are placed in the bed of your choice and wrapped in warm blankets. As the body is heated to 43°C, the warm essences softly stimulate your body to relieve tention and enhance your cardiovascular system.

Imagine yourself horse riding into the morning sunshine along the lake or through popular mountain trails. If you prefer the ground under your feet, Nordic Walking is a sport that gets your cardiovascular system gently back on track. Or try mountain biking on the easy trails along the lake and ambitious downhill parcours. An array of water sport activities in the summer are replaced by a host of winter activitiesin the snow.
