The Christmas Markets in Innsbruck are counted as some of the most beautiful and romantic in the entire Alpine region.

Christmas Market Old Town
Every Advent in the historic old town of Innsbruck, just in front of the Golden Roof and surrounded by beautifully preserved medieval facades, the traditional Christmas market is held. Strolling through the market you will find Christmas ornaments, handicrafts and other winter treats. Traditional dishes such as Kiachln and a cup of Glühwein (mulled wine) will keep you warm whilst mingling with the locals and perhaps making new friends.

Christmas Market Maria-Theresien Straße
Innsbruck's main shopping street will once again dazzle visitors with lights, glass and crystal. New stalls, modern Christmas light designs and an exciting range of souvenirs supplement the traditional Christmas market offerings in the heart of the town.

The Family Christmas Market at Marktplatz
The Christmas market at the Marktplatz will delight the entire family. The carousel, petting zoo and many other attractions will make children's eyes sparkle, whilst parents can browse through a range of beautiful gifts and savour all of the tasty regional specialities.

Panorama Christmas Market on Hungerburg
The Hungerburgbahn funicular railway line promises to make your journey to the Panorama Christmas Market a scenic adventure.
