Lake Putterersee in the Aigen / Ennstal valley is the warmest alpine moor lake in Styria. The moor mud and sulfur in the lake are said to have natural healing powers. The lake is 6m deep and up to 23°C warm in the summer.

Also known as the “Styrian Sea”, Lake Grundlsee is Styria’s largest lake and has 14km of mostly freely accessible natural beaches, with three specially prepared bathing areas and a section reserved for nudist bathers. Also served by cruise lines, boat rental, sailing and surfing classes, as well as a yacht club.
