For a real spot of memorable riding, the resort of Zell am See-Kaprun in the SalzburgerLand offers a natural arena of glaciers, mountains and lakes.

The region’s well-developed cycling path network winds some 240km and stretches out to a total distance of 1300km across the province. Families will enjoy an easy cycle around the clear Lake Zell where a post-ride cool down is never far away, while those looking for a bit more heart-pumping action can load their mountain bikes (free of charge) on the glacier cable car to three new designated free-ride trails stretching over 12km on the Kitzsteinhorn.

Up on the Maiskogel, negotiate drops, banked turns and kickers within a 2000m² bike park which includes an obstacle area for bike instruction and children’s coaching. And, catch your breath for more, Zell am See-Kaprun is also one of Austria's largest e-bike regions with 25 hire stations offering guests just one more added boost to their cycling holiday.
