Mostviertel cider region, the majestic Ötscher Mountain and the lovely pilgrimage town of Mariazell. As the route follows old pilgrimage trails there are plenty of hotels, guesthouses and inns along the way. If you do the trip in reverse, i.e. cycle from Mariazell towards the Danube, you can enjoy easy downhill cruising with a 700-meter difference in altitude between start and finish.
