The Gasthaus Haberl

Once the famous chef of the well-established Hotel Sacher in Vienna, Hans Peter Fink took over the traditional rural inn of his in-laws in Styria and was awarded with two "Gault Millau" hats right away.

Since 2008, the award-winning chef Hans Peter Haberl has been cooking again in his home region of Styria.

At Restaurant Haberl in Walkersdorf near Ilz, he proves with his wife Bettina that high-end Austrian cuisine and rural inn atmosphere go together perfectly. On the menu you will find delicious specialties such as a pink roasted saddle of lamb with braised sweet pepper polenta, green beans and Lardo.

At the elegant inn, you can purchase home-made “Fink’s” brand specialities. These wonderful Styrian products such as pumpkin pesto, porcino in apple vinegar and pickled wild apples are also available in selected fine food stores across Austria.
