Easy as Riding a Bike

Handlebar and saddle remain, but the wheels are replaced by skis on the snowbike, and the pedals are simply not needed for your swift ride down the mountain.
The Achensee Region is a winter wonderland for all generations with versatile, high-quality holiday offers, imbedded in a breathtaking landscape. Alpine skiing is not everyone's idea of fun and, although the Achensee ski slopes are certainly tempting enough to convert all, there are plenty of other winter sport activities guaranteed to give just as many thrills and spills. Take, for example, snowbiking.

Guided by outdoor instructors, those new to the somewhat unconventional bike on skis will learn how to ride down to the valley with confidence. And for the more advanced there are snowbike workshops where you can learn how to perfect your skills and even conquer the art of übercool jumps and stunts.
