Resorts with Extra-Long Skiing Seasons

Kaunertal Glacier
The Kaunertal Glacier is Tirol's youngest glacier. There is plenty of room on prepared pistes and natural ski routes with hardly any lift queues. Snow is guaranteed from late September until June, thanks to a high-altitude location. From the legendary opening party to the family-friendly ski area in Fendels, there is something to suit all ages.

Pitztal Glacier
Feel on top of the world on Pitztal Glacier, Tirol's highest glacier. With guaranteed snow from early December to late April, there is nothing stopping you from tackling all 41 km (25 mi) of groomed runs. Round off your day by taking the Wildspitzbahn cable car to 3,440 m (11,286 ft), where you can kick back on the panorama terrace of Austria's highest café.

Glacier Skiing in Hintertux
The Hintertux Glacier is Austria’s only year-round ski resort, offering perfectly groomed, snow-sure runs 365 days of the year, as well as great food and stunning nature at altitudes of up to 3,250 m (10,663 ft).

Ischgl in Tirol
Ischgl is part of one of the biggest interconnected ski areas in Tirol. From skiing in the Silvretta-Arena to concerts featuring global stars, shopping, and top cuisine, the famed Ischgl exhilarates with its exuberant holiday style. Here, the season starts in late November and ends in early May.
