Winter in Tirol

7 nights at a family-run hotel in Obsteig with included winter activities and a visit to Innsbruck.

The Tirol is one of the world’s premier areas for winter holidays in terms of facilities, hotels and stupendous mountain scenery. Stay in the traditional Tirolean village of Obsteig at the 3-star Landhotel Stern.  This winter break is for 7 nights; dates include January when the snow is at its most profuse, or February and March when the weather is sunnier. 

Winter activities: All of the following activities are offered free of charge: Winter walk, Innsbruck excursion by Postbus with guided walking tour, guided torchlit walk with mulled wine, cross-country skiing introduction (charge for equipment hire), travel by skibus to Seefeld (chair lift ride up to Gschwandtkopf included), guided snowshoe walk (snowshoes and Nordic walking sticks included). A horse-drawn sleigh ride is also available on day 4.
