Bad Kleinkirchheim
6th December 2014 - Winter opening and advent celebration with traditional Christmas Market and festive activities for the whole family on the mountain.

Großglockner / Heiligenblut
5th December 2014 - Ski opening with appearance of St. Nicholas and the Krampus, parties in the huts throughout the resort, as well as a fun ski race.

25th to 28th October 2014 - Powder Opening with plenty of parties, a DJ on the mountain, and a carving course.
15th to 16th November 2014 - Intersport Opening to celebrate the new season with free ski tests, culinary treats and a party on the Saturday night.

Upper Austria

29th to 30th November 2014 - Opening weekend with lifts then operating from 6th December 2014 until 6th April 2015.


4th to 8th December 2014 - non-stop Start Up 15 party from Thursday to Sunday including free ski test center, fun snow sports and après-ski with live acts.

Bad Gastein
12th - 14th December 2014 - Bad Gastein's opening weekend with the SOUND IN THE SNOW party on the Friday, followed by charity ski races, guided freeride and ski tours, ski tests and the opening of the Christmas Market.

29th November 2014 - Ski Opening with a Beatles tribute and special guest Andreas Gabalier.

Saalbach Hinterglemm
5th to 7th December 2014 - The 2-day BERGFESTival will rock the mountains in various locations at up to 2000m.
5th to 8th December 2014 - Snow Mobile, the world's biggest snowmobile event, is held in Saalbach Hinterglemm.
11th to 14th December 2014 - Rave on Snow delivers top DJs for THE winter event of the electronic music scene.

5th to 8th December 2014 - Look forward to Twice the Winterstart in Wagrain-Kleinarl with Die Söhne Mannheims and Revolverhead. Packages are available that include ski pass and concert tickets.

Zell am See-Kaprun
7th to 9th November 2014 - WOW Glacier Love, the new music and winter sport festival, promises parties at night and action by day on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and in the valley.

From 28th November 2014 - There are regular Wine Meets Snow events throughout the winter season.

14th December 2014 - Sport 2000 Winter Opening

28th November 2014 - The Ski-Opening in Schladming with 5 top acts.


12th to 14th December 2014 - Ski opening with live music on Friday and Saturday evening and free ski testing.

13th December 2014 - The Rise&Fall opening brings adrenaline to Mayrhofen. 45 teams compete in thrilling contests, including ski mountaineering, paragliding, Alpine skiing and snowboarding, rounded off by a surprise live act.

12th to 15th December 2014 - Ski & Snowboard Opening in Gerlos.

29th November 2014 - Top of the Mountain Opening Concert with James Blunt.

13th to 23rd November 2014 - An entire week devoted to the Winter Opening with reduced ski pass prices and equipment hire, plus parties with live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

25th to 26th October 2014 - FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Opening
25th October 2014 - World Cup Party
15th November 2014 - Scheduled opening of the winter ski slopes.

5th to 6th December 2014 - Ski Opening at Hochzeiger and a live concert with the band Opus on 6th December.

5th to 7th December 2014 - Launch the season with a weekend of concerts at the St. Anton Ski Open.
