For centuries the Arlberg has been known as the ‘cradle of Alpine skiing’. It casts a spell over skiers winter after winter. Today, the Vorarlberg region and Lech Zürs am Arlberg in particular provide the freeriding dream, with endless runs in deep, glistening powder, and that wonderful sense of freedom that skiers and snowboarders relish.
The vast skiing area of Lech Zürs am Arlberg guarantees snow well into spring, when the lifts open a little earlier. By then, many people long for warm sunshine and blue skies – but still want to ski! You can enjoy spring skiing from 8.30 am at reduced low-season rates from 6th April. Then, from 1st to 21st April, Lech Zürs am Arlberg hosts a variety of concerts as part of the Classic Alpine Ski Weeks to mark the end of the season.
