A traditional feast: "Martinigansl" dinner
Multiple events including art exhibitions, wine tastings, live music, and cellar alley festivals take place in October and November to celebrate the end of the harvest and Martiniloben, the Feast of St. Martin.
Succulent “Martinigansl” – roasted goose with aromatic chestnuts, delicious red cabbage and fluffy bread dumplings is THE traditional regional dish of the season that delights all. The local red wine from the indigenous grape variety, St. Laurent, is soft, silky and fruity – the perfect accompaniment.
