You don't know Haydn till you've walked the Haydn Trail. This unforgettable tour of the composer's life doubles as an intimate introduction to picturesque Eisenstadt, just 40 minutes south of Vienna.

From the Haydn Church, you'll arrive at Haydn's house, where work and private life merged. Then comes the historic downtown, with its Baroque homes, city hall and memorial to victims of the Black Plague. Next it's Esterházy Palace, home to Haydn Hall -- one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world.

And no Haydn tour is complete without a stop at the Haydn Mausoleum, which holds his mortal remains; you'll never forget the story of Haydn's head, which disappeared and was returned to his body only a few decades ago.
