The Jacuzzi on the terrace, the panorama sauna in the basement, an open fireplace in the large salon and a sparkling crystal chandelier in the wood-panelled dining room: what sounds like a luxury hotel for Hollywood stars is actually also available to and affordable for non-celebrities looking for the ideal spot for their winter holidays – in the middle of the Kitzbühel ski area, and right near the famous Maierl downhill run!

Located on a high plateau at an elevation of 1,225 metres, the venerable Maierl Alm has now added five stylish chalets to its offerings. The chalets have three levels, accommodating eight people in four bedrooms and an equal number of baths. In addition there is a private wellness area, two spacious terraces with fabulous views of the Wilder Kaiser mountain, and delightfully luxurious touches such as your own ski-boot warmer. When it comes time for dinner, if you would rather allow yourself to be pampered during your stay instead of standing at the stove, you can order regional delicacies such as sucking calf with mushrooms, catfish with root-vegetable, or breast of pheasant with a juniper-berry cream sauce and have them delivered to your chalet. After all, the Maierl Alm’s kitchen is known for its outstanding selection of regional dishes! This, by the way, is also where the extensive breakfast comes from, which you will find on your breakfast table every morning, and which is included in the price of your chalet (with a minimum of € 75 per person and night and at least five people staying in the chalet).
