From drab to fab: with a great deal of commitment, hard work, vision, and even more good taste, the owners of the Walliserhof have succeeded in turning a dreary 1970s-era hotel into a stylish, relaxed design hotel.

An organic sauna and panorama tub in your bath, an open fireplace and B&O sound system in the living room: you have scarcely checked in and already you wish you would never again have to leave your suite at the Walliserhof. Which would be a pity, because then you would miss the Brandnertal, the valley right in front of the hotel that is among the most beautiful regions in all of Vorarlberg.

Depending on the season, it is ideal for hiking, biking, golfing, tennis, flying model airplanes, skiing, sledding, or snowshoe hikes. You would also miss the rest of this remarkable establishment! For example, an absolute must is a visit to the large spa area, with its steam bath, salt cave, infrared sauna, Zen garden, treatment rooms, and pool with underwater massage. Or you might decide to simply make yourself comfortable on the spacious garden terrace or in front of the flickering flames in the fireplace room. Late risers can enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet until noon, after which, as part of the “Indulgence Board” package, the hotel serves soup, snacks, and cake. Every evening, guests are pampered with a six-course gourmet dinner made from the choicest locally-grown ingredients. Equally tasteful is the modern designer ambience, with exposed wood and concrete walls, classic furniture and antiques, as well as unconventional colour concepts. A final tip: be sure to check out the very attractive special offers.
