Hellbrunn‘s Advent

Stroll along a broad, torch lit path to the romantic Hellbrunn palace located on the outskirt of Salzburg and immerse yourself in the magic of “Advent,” the four weeks leading up to Christmas (11/17 to 12/24/2012.)

Be enchanted by the sight of the huge Advent calendar, the many picturesque wooden huts, and the sweet fragrance of Christmas pastries. Listen to Christmas songs played by Austrian folk musicians and find out what the Austrian expression “Gemuetlichkeit” means as you linger over a cup of hot mulled wine and take in the festive atmosphere. A fairy tale world made of 350 Christmas trees glitters with 10,000 red ornaments and holiday lights. Then, before the clock strikes midnight, enjoy the view over the castle’s lit up park and spend time in the Orangery’s Advent lounge. Christmas is almost here…
