With its unconventional design, the Hotel Sans Souce Wien and its restaurant "La Veranda" fit right into the artsy neighborhood of the 7th district with its charming, historic buildings: Yoo design, inspired by Stark and featuring authentic artworks, combines quirky modern elements with extravagant luxury items reminiscent of the opulence of past centuries.
At the restaurant, resembling the long banquet table at an imperial court and contrasted with extravagant modern glass chandeliers hanging directly overhead, the large communal table at the heart of the room creates an elegant atmosphere.
Likewise elegant yet unpretentious are the creations of Chef de Cuisine, René Pichler. With his team, he strives to present authentic culinary dining experiences, relying mostly on organic ingredients sourced from the region.
Breakfast is served here from 7 am to 10:30 am (11 am on weekends) and it is definitely worth getting out of bed for. Organic products like seasonal fruits and vegetables, freshly baked bread, free-range eggs, a variety of cereals, cheese and ham, fresh fruit juices, as well as an assortment of teas and local coffee specialties, perhaps even a glass of champagne make for a perfect start to your day in Vienna.
In the afternoon, it’s tea time. The hotel celebrates traditional tea time with sweet and salty delicacies and the best teas served from a special tea wagon. For those who wish to linger after dinner, the hotel’s cocktail bar, aptly named “Le Bar,” has a particularly appealing list of finest champagnes to choose from.

Located in the heart of Vienna, this is not just a hotel with a little glass, steel and stone and then a grape seed oil facial mask in your bathroom. This family-operated hotel has dedicated the entire heart and soul of their establishment to wine. Each of the individually designed rooms is sponsored by an Austrian vintner who also stocks the mini bar. Even the delicious breakfast buffet features wine in a non-alcoholic edible form!
