Innsbruck, Austria on the map
In 1895 Daniel Swarovski founded the Swarovski company in Wattens, just 12 km east of Innsbruck. Here, in the city with the best water quality in the Tyrol and thus perfect for crystal cutting, he realised his vision of bringing joy to people through crystal. 100 years later, in 1995, the museum Swarovski Crystal Worlds opened its doors to visitors from all over the world. Since then, over nine million people have experienced the magic of crystal with all their senses in the chambers of wonder. The Swarovski Crystal Worlds is the second-most visited museum in Austria.

Fronted by a grass-covered giant’s head, the secret coves within, conceived by Austrian artist André Heller featuring a multi-faceted universe of myths and fairy tales, are filled with crystals of all colours and shapes. With 590 mirrors on the walls of its cupola, the Crystal Dome at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds offers a kaleidoscope rich in color, with light refracted in all its tones. Visitors are instantly enchanted by unique crystalline treasures designed by internationally important artists including Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. This unique exhibition space with its glittering array of colourful artistic displays exudes a truly mystical atmosphere.

Obviously, this stunning showcase dedicated to the irresistible magic of crystals would not be complete without a special collectors’ lounge. And after having enjoyed a unique shopping experience at the Crystal Stage, the largest Swarovski store worldwide, you can enjoy refreshments and culinary delights at the Café-terra restaurant.

Established by the famous crystal manufacturing company, the Swarovski museum also features year-round events such as workshops, live performances and special exhibitions.
