The Timmermann family knows Vienna, and Vienna knows the Timmermann family.

Meet Vienna Walks & Talks, their family-run tour company founded by Dr. Brigitte Timmermann, a well-known and highly respected professional Austria Guide and tour director with years of experience both in academia and the tourist business.

This very Viennese and highly professional family takes you on sightseeing tours that make you learn about Vienna in a bit different way and discover the hidden treasures in a rather unconventional way. Join them, for example, on the Visionary Architecture of the 1920s "Red Vienna" tour, a political experiment of Vienna's Labor government in the 1920s and early 1930s aimed at creating a model culture for the urban proletariat.

Or try the ‘Into the green - Our Hiking Tours’. Hard to believe, but Vienna is a hiker's paradise. The city boasts nine city hiking paths, two around-the-city hiking paths and two across-the-city hiking paths all of which make Vienna a natural place for rewarding hiking tours.

Others offer fabulous views over the city Walks, like the ‘Jewish Vienna  tour,’ which tells about Jewish life in the city from its earliest beginnings in the 12th century, and its ups and downs in the course of history.
