Friedensreich Hundertwasser – In Harmony with Nature

Datum: 26.04.2008 - 05.10.2008
Ort: Minoritenkloster Tulln , Niederösterreich
During the 2008 Garden Show (Die Garten Tulln) the Tulln Minorite Monastery in cooperation with KunstHaus Wien presents some of Hundertwasser’s works on nature.
Visitors will be introduced to Hundertwasser’s ideas and thoughts on nature and living space and how these two should be reconciled in the most efficient and environmentally-friendly way. This exhibition will present some of his architectural models which best reflect his philosophy and way of thinking.
The show also focuses on Hundertwasser as a private person who tried to lead life in harmony with nature’s laws. The original “Regentag” (= rainy day), a boat designed by Hundertwasser, is parked in the harbor in front of the monastery and is also part of the exhibition.
