Airport Transfers in Vienna

Wien Peterskirche und Stefansdom, Wiener City

Vienna’s Schwechat airport is located about 16km south-east of the city centre. The quickest and easiest way to get into the city centre from the airport is on the new City Airport Train CAT. It departs every 30 minutes from 6.05am to 11.35pm and takes just 16 minutes. Cost: €9.00 for Adults and €5.00 for children.

The S7 railway runs every 30-minutes (all day and night) between the Airport to Vienna's Central Railway station (Wien Mitte) via North Station and takes 32 minutes. Cost is €4.50 for Adults.

Also, busses running every 30 minutes (from 6am to midnight) link the airport with the orther major stations Westbahnhof (West Station) and Südbahnhof (South Station) and takes approx. 20 minutes. Cost is €6 for Adults.

Public transport is much cheaper than taxis which cost around €35.00 for a ride into the city centre and can take 30 - 45 minutes.
